Phan Thi Kim Phúc [Vietnam, 1972]

The 9 year old girl pictured in center, from Kim Phuc, is running from a napalm attack which has seriously burnt her back. The boy in front is her brother, though both survived later but the way she screams in the picture just broke my heart badly.

 Execution of a Viet Cong Guerrilla [Vietnam, 1968]

This picture was taken by Eddie Adams of famous Nguyen Ngoc Loan, South Vietnam’s national police chief. The photographer later regretted to take picture of this officer only during his execution and said that he should have covered his phenomenal sacrifices in Vietnam.
